Capacity and equipment

PCT owns Liebherr LHM 320 Mobile Crane, capable of handling 20-45” containers, maximum container weight is 40mt at a distance of 28 meter. Maximum width to cover is 43 meter with a maximum container weight of 16mt.   To further handle the operation, PCT operates 2 Terex reach stackers capable of handling containers of max. 45 mt.

PCT has an own quay of 140 meter length, capable of handling ships up to 200 meter.

Services

There are excellent barge connections From / To PCT:

Deep Sea terminals : Antwerp, Delta, Home, RST, Amsterdam; 

• Maritime cargo destined for the rail/barge shuttles departing from PCT is barged from these deep sea terminals to PCT and back; Total flow is managed by PCT;
• Maritime Cargo to be stored in warehouses can be barged from all Deep Sea ports and stored in the warehouses of VLS-Group. Because of low barging costs to PCT this is serious alternative for local storage in Antwerp, Moerdijk or Amsterdam;
• PCT is also interesting option to reposition containers from other ports to Rotterdam or other way round;.

Inland terminals ;

• Continental cargo is delivered to PCT, and from here on barged to all destinations on the River Rhine, France (Lille) and Benelux;

Short Sea

The PCT has the capacity to handle ships up to 7,5 meters of draught and 200 meters of length; Combinations can be made like:

• Continental cargo for export UK/ Ireland;
• Maritime cargo for import Europe, with direct link to rail/barge/truck connection;
