Capacity and Equipment

PCT has in total 1.400 meter of rail divided into 4 tracks. PCT has an own rail locomotive capable of shunting trains of maximum 600 meter length. The handling from and on trains is done by 2 Reach stackers.

Services

From PCT there are rail shuttle services to:

1.) Kutno (close to Warsaw);        5 times per week; max. 90 TEU back and forth;
2.) Maasvlakte ECT Delta              5  times per week; max. 80 TEU back and forth;
3 .) International train to Kijfhoek; 5 times per week; max. 80 TEU back and forth; from Kijfhoek several destinations into Europe;

1.) Rotterdam - Kutno (Poland) via Frankfurt (Oder)

The new shuttle operates according to an AC-schedule, taking into account the standard time of departure being 20.00 o’clock, both from Rotterdam and Kutno in Central Poland. With one stop in Frankfurt/Oder the train will reach place of destination 48 hours after departure.

2.) Maasvlakte ECT Delta

The new rail connection between PCT and the Maasvlakte ECT terminal is operated by GTO. The main target is to avoid congestion at the main road for the supply of the customers in the Rotterdam area.

3.)   International train to Kijfhoek;

From PCT there are daily shuttles to the main Rotterdam rail station “Kijfhoek”. From there on the wagons are linked to the train going to the final destinations all over Europe and has direct connection to the Betuwe Route. The train capacity of this service is 80 TEU back and forth. This train is operated by Railion.
